I like building tech marketing teams and custom playbooks to take on moonshot goals. I've served in CMO roles on executive teams for 15 years, including private, PE-backed and publicly-traded companies. High-growth B2B SaaS has been my focus for the last few years. My roots are in B2C (Xbox) and in between, I spent seven years on the agency side using gamified storytelling to unlock revenue. I have had the good fortune to work for these companies: • As a product management lead at the startup of Microsoft’s Xbox, I owned a games portfolio that grew from $0 to $200 million in 3 years. • Later, as a Principal at Mindspace, I led a recession-era turnaround by helping new clients like Google, Virgin, Starbucks and Expedia break through to chronically distracted audiences. We grew our services revenue 3X in 3 recession years by delivering on some pretty big promises. • At Axon (NASDAQ: AXON), I joined the executive team in a mission to protect life in public safety, with a moonshot goal to make the bullet obsolete. My international team rebranded the name of the company to align with the mission, created the largest tech conference in policing and built a VR training platform to help officers de-escalate with empathy. We partnered with sales in revenue growth from $197M to $531M. • CampusLogic, a mission-driven SaaS company ranked #1 in EdTech on the Inc 5000, brought me in to build a category and accelerate growth. Financial friction is the number one barrier to a degree, and historically marginalized students are hit hardest. We are removing this barrier for millions of students at over 750 colleges and universities. Our sustained, rapid growth has been featured in the Inc. 5000 for 5 years in a row.
