Trond Straume studied Computer Science at the University in Stavanger and in Business Management from the Norwegian Business School (BI). His career began in the telecommunications industry and includes working for Ernst & Young in an IT audit and advisory role before joining ADB in 2008 as Director of R&D. Following the acquisition of ADB by AVEVA, he held a number of positions within the company before becoming the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), based in Cambridge, UK.In 2018 Trond became the CEO of Powel, a software company in green-tech.Volue was created in March 2020 by combining Powel, Wattsight, Markedskraft and Scanmatic in one international group.
