Experienced Postdoc with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. Skilled in pre-clinical studies, the immune system, imaging modalities, and protein technology.For 6 years I have worked as a Postdoc at the Department of Experimental Clinical Oncology (DECO) at Aarhus University Hospital. Here I am employed in a full-time research position with project management as my core responsibility. This involves literature research, hypothesis generation, planning and execution of experiments, data analysis and writing research papers. Usually, I am involved in 3-5 projects at any given time with myself as the driving force on 1-2 of these projects. On the remaining projects I am usually a partner for discussion or a collaborator. At Dept. Exp. Clin. Onc. our team consists of Animal Caretakers, both medical and biochemical lab technicians, as well as other researchers. All participants contribute with specialist hands-on knowledge and know-how in their respective fields, which makes us a strong unit. Besides my primary responsibilities and a range of ad hoc commitments turning up on a daily basis in a research unit, I manage several administrative tasks (mostly concerned with the departments animal facility) and teaching engagements (mostly teaching at Aarhus University, but also as supervisor for students at DECO).
