Over the past 15 years, I've led biz dev, sales, marketing, corp dev for startups of various shapes and sizes - from "ideas on a napkin" to billion dollar public startups. I'm now a partner at Atomic founding, funding, and growing companies across consumer, enterprise, and digital health. I was most recently an entrepreneur-in-residence at Trinity Ventures, the 30-year young VC firm behind great companies like Starbucks, Zulily, and New Relic. Prior to that, I spent 7 years as the co-founder and CBO at SweetLabs, a San Diego startup backed by Google Ventures, Intel Capital, and Bessemer, which we grew from scratch to a 75-person company doing high 8-figures in revenue and 8-figures in EBITDA. Before that, I spent 7 years as an early biz dev and sales lead at DivX, a video tech company we took public with a peak market cap of $1B and was eventually acquired for $326M. I currently live in Redwood City with my wife and two daughters, but have spent most of my life in sunny San Diego and LA (go Clippers!).
