I am an accomplished professional with extensive experience in publications; program design and management; and exhibiting ideas and cultures for a variety of publics. I am seeking part-time or freelance editorial opportunities in professional, nonprofit, and educational organizations. Writing/editing specialties and favorite topics: In content, the arts in general, museums, health care, cultural heritage, India, SE Europe, the grassroots and the vernacular, interdisciplinary studies, Alzheimer's, cookbooks In genre, texts for general public consumption, including abstracts, signage, and brochures. I also have had much success compiling and editing books, articles, newsletters, and reports. CURRENT PROJECT: Book on "The Will to Adorn: The Elements of African American Style."
