APG is the biggest Pension service provider in the Netherlands and one of the biggest in the world.

I am working at the tactical and strategic security level within APG. Participating in (large) IT projects and with Agile teams to ensure that “the projects” meet the right level of security. With a lot of experience at the operational security level (F5, Bluecoat, Juniper SSL VPN, Mcafee EPO, Skyhigh) and certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CISM and CRISC it is easier to see IT security not only from a security / Risk point of view but also through the eyes of an auditor what is a great advantage in day to day work. The CIPP/E Certification and GDPR knowledge is also nice to have in addition to the more security related certifications. I also have ethical hacking experience and certifications (CEH and CHFI) which is an great advantage to priotorize findings from pentests and arrange pentests inside the company. Beside my job at APG I work as a freelancer (Ernst IT Solutions) and help companies with IT (security) related advice and fly drones for fun and profit.
