Healthcare reform and regulation place enormous pressure on physicians and providers to deliver dependable services efficiently and affordably. With nearly two decades of experience in healthcare technology management supported by an MBSA in computer science, I leverage my turnaround expertise to create sustainable centers of excellence from the ground up. For example: ▶︎ I helped guide Fujifilm Cloud Services into an operationally sound multi-million-dollar business where lean practices, technology innovations and strong product marketing drive large margins ▶︎ Most recently, I oversaw the managed transportation technology platform at AHMR, using ITIL strategies to structure the $100M business through its custom technology. Creating an effective modern healthcare system requires understanding the cultural and operational strategies within an organization, then integrating technology across its multiple disciplines. This means fully grasping the people, structures, governance and resources in place before attempting to transform a business with a one-size-fits-all technology solution. Because I’ve worked on both the provider and vendor sides of the healthcare tech industry, I understand how compelling that can sound, but I know how critical it is for all parts of an organization’s structure to align before technology can definitively drive a business.
