During my thirteen years in the Corporate Benefits Department, I have consistently performed not only my assigned duties but extra projects asked of me as well as volunteered to step up when the need was presented. During some of my time in this position; I worked without a director and was able to maintain my high quality work as well as take over the responsibilities normally assigned to a team lead. I have successfully researched and educated myself on the proper practices necessary to adhere to policies and contractual needs. I continue to be relied upon by upper management in many aspects of benefit administration; including but not limited to government filings, acquisitions, implementation of new benefit plans, implementation of an HRIS systems, training, compliance, annual enrollment presentations, etc. I was a key contributor in building an HR Portal for employees by developing knowledge base content utilized by our Shared Service Center and employees. I continue to transfer knowledge as the need is presented by the Shared Services Team to ensure all data available to our employees is available, accurate and most of all understandable. I maintain excellent relationships with vendors and brokers; and am constantly working to ensure that our plan structures are consistent and compliant with company policies and our vendor contracts. I have extensive health and welfare, plan design, 401k, and pension experience. In addition to the above, I was a supervisor for our Benefits Call Center for 11 years.
