In 2012, Mayor Emanuel appointed Sierra a commissioner of the Chicago Housing Authority where he serves as Board vice chairman and chair of the pension fund. He is a founding member of Nuestro Futuro, a partnership with the Chicago Community Trust; former board member of the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance and emeritus board trustee of the Goodman Theater. Sierra sits on the CMO Council North America advisory board and belongs to the CMO Club, and the Economic Club of Chicago. Sierra has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management & a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University.
