I’m the European and Middle East Practice Leader with Alvarez & Marsal’s Disputes and Investigations practice in London. I have over 20+ years of professional experience in forensic technology and cyber engagements, advising clients in relation to the forensic investigation of digital evidence, the interrogation of complex data sets and the disclosure of electronic documents. I regularly act as an IT forensics expert executing civil search orders and providing expert testimony and often deal with cross-border jurisdictional and regulatory issues in respect of accessing data for legal or regulatory requirements. As Leader of Alvarez & Marsal’s Disputes and Investigations practice, I work with global clients across a wide range of sectors, from oil and gas to financial services, and defence and aviation, to name but a few. I have also led anti-bribery investigations, IP theft cases, employment disputes, #fraud investigations, cartel/anti-trust investigations, compliance review exercises and supported commercial #litigation and international arbitration. Many of these cases have been cross-border, requiring close monitoring of data protection and privacy legislation and the appropriate use of #technology. Outside of my day to day work, I enjoy speaking at conferences and events, presenting on topics such as information governance and digital investigations. In addition to this I regularly do media interviews about anything relating to forensic investigations, eDiscovery and data analytics. I was also very pleased be named as Who’s Who Legal Digital Forensic Expert of the Year in both 2017 and 2018. In my spare time, I love spending time with the family - my three kids keep me pretty busy. I also enjoy keeping active and love running, playing squash, swimming and reading a good book.
