AlphaSense provides a breakthrough search engine for investment and corporate professionals. Our mission is to organize the worldAAAas investment information by semantically indexing the millions of documents that are released every year on public companies worldwide. We make all this content instantly discoverable for our users, and help them track new market moving disclosures with automated alerts. Our clients include some of the worldAAAas largest investment managers, global banks, research firms and corporations. The AlphaSense subscription service helps our users become dramatically more productive, and gain an information edge by discovering critical data points and trends that others miss.
Highly driven, ambitious, results-focused sales professional within the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and market intelligence space. I have 10 years of sales and sales leadership experience, working in both Series A-D tech start-ups and large corporate environments; as well as a strong track record of driving revenue growth and developing executive level relationships. I am one of two founding members of the AlphaSense London office (the other being a Financial Services / Buy-Side salesperson), having joined the company in March 2016 as the first corporate salesperson in EMEA. At the time, the company had just completed its Series A funding round, led by Soros, and had $4M in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). Over the past 6+ years I have helped to establish and grow AlphaSense's Corporate business across the EMEA region, scaling the London team to over 100 people. In June 2022, and with over $125M in ARR, AlphaSense completed a $225million Series D funding round led by Goldman Sachs, Viking Global and BlackRock. Investors from our Series A, B and C include Innovation Endeavours, the VC fund of Eric Schmidt (the former CEO and Chairman of Google), George Soros, Bank of America, Citi, as well as Jim Simon's Euclidean Capital fund. Much of this funding is to go into content acquisition, product development, M&A and global expansion. As of the start of 2022, and having been one of the highest performing individual contributors by revenue for a number of years, I moved into a sales leadership role as AlphaSense continues to scale at a rapid rate. My primary focus is now on the scaling, development and performance of the EMEA sales organisation, as well as international expansion, with new offices in Germany and Singapore. Outside of work, I have a passion for the capital markets and enjoy trading and investing in global equities. I travel as much as I can and enjoy experiencing new places and culture. Bucket list countries to visit include Japan, Tanzania, Namibia, Iceland, Costa Rica, Peru and Argentina. I also love anything and everything sport related, both playing and watching. Prior to my career in tech, I played golf professionally for a number of years on the EuroPro and Jamega Tours. My favourite sports include football, rugby, golf and skiing. I try to stay fit and active as well as maintain a healthy work-life balance.
