Alltech Inc is a biotechnology research center that is a producer and processor of yeast and organic trace minerals.

Tim Arthur joined Alltech Biotechnologies as Global Director of MIS in 1995. Tim is charged with developing Alltech’s MIS strategy for its worldwide offices in 128 countries. Alltech is one of the world’s largest producers and distributors in the Human Nutrition and Animal Health Industry. Tim started his career in mainframe systems working for Jerrico (Long John Silvers) and Kentucky Central Life Insurance Company as a systems analyst. He later moved to PC environment in the early 80’s taking on large scale remote and communication projects for Kentucky Central Life. Tim would later set out to create a computer software company, Accounting Alternatives, Inc., and assumed the position of president and CEO. Tim merged the company with Data Solutions, and held the position of executive VP, servicing the financial and production industries with networking support and ERP/MRP solutions. As the CIO and Global Director of Alltech, Tim has deployed infrastructure to offices around the world working toward his quests of 'connecting all offices to one central center by using technology to break down the language, geographic, and social barriers to create one Alltech Culture'. One major accomplishment was to help Alltech grow from a $20 million company to soon to be $4billion over his career as CIO. Tim was elected as a member of the Microsoft CIO Advisory board in 2012 working with other CIO’s from North America to help connect business with their executive team. Tim’s a member of the CIO executive council with CIO/Computerworld magazine. Board of advisor member for technology innovation organization, DEMO. 2013,2014 runner-up of Microsoft Business visionary Award. Alltech is the Business excellence Awards winner 2014.Tim attended the University of Kentucky, and completed Executive MBA at the Smurfit School of Business in Dublin, Ireland. Junior Achievement elected to the board in2015.
