On January 1, 2022, I was named CEO & President of Allina Health after serving as COO of the organization for four and a half years. As a leader, my goal is to create a health system that offers everyone within our communities the highest quality of care. Allina Health is one of the largest healthcare systems in the state of Minnesota, and as such, it is our duty to provide a safe, inclusive environment for first responders, front-line workers and staff, because quality patient care starts with happy and healthy care providers. In my role, I am responsible for the overall strategic direction of Allina Health, ensuring the organization delivers exceptional care and supports the health and well-being of its employees and of those we serve. Throughout my career, I have looked for ways to help people find a path toward better health and wellbeing. Prior to my appointment as CEO, I served as President and COO, accountable for driving exceptional clinical, operational and financial performance, allowing Allina Health to deliver quality, affordable care to the communities we serve. Before joining Allina Health, I was COO and President at KentuckyOne Health, the largest integrated health system in Kentucky. I’ve also served in executive leadership roles at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have experience in dietetics, preventive care, critical care and leadership development and have been working in the healthcare industry for nearly 34 years. As a leader, I believe in authenticity; which can only be achieved when people are clear about their strengths and weaknesses. I lead with a drive to improve the healthcare system and a focus on developing relationships built upon mutual trust and respect. My goal is to make Allina Health a national model within the healthcare industry. I am committed to improving the lives of all Minnesotans. I currently serve on the Board of the Greater Twin Cities United Way and the University of St. Thomas opus College of Business Strategic Board of Advisors.
