Terry Shaw is president and chief executive officer for AdventHealth. He leads one of the largest faith-based health care systems in the United States, comprising 50 hospitals across nine states, and a continuum of integrated care made up of more than 1,200 care sites, including urgent care centers, home health, hospice, physician practices and skilled nursing facilities. Shaw's career with AdventHealth spans more than 35 years. Since becoming CEO of the organization, he has championed AdventHealth’s vision to be wholistic, connected, exceptional, affordable and viable. Under Shaw’s leadership, the organization completed a comprehensive brand transformation hallmarked by consumer-centrism and a promise to help people feel whole through the delivery of compassionate, high-quality care for body, mind and spirit. Shaw is actively involved with various organizations, boards and committees. He serves as chairman of the Premier Inc. board of directors, and was appointed to the Healthcare Leadership Council, a policy think tank.
