Michael D’Ambrose is the executive vice president of Human Resources for The Boeing Company, and serves on the company’s executive council. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s leadership and learning, talent planning, employee and labor relations, total rewards, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. D’Ambrose has been a leader and trusted advisor in human resources for more than three decades, focused on leveraging innovative human strategies to influence business strategy, empower leaders, embrace change and deliver business results. He advocates passionately for diversity and inclusion; brings deep expertise in talent management, succession, compensation, mergers and acquisitions and labor relations; and creates high-performing teams that drive extraordinary results. D’Ambrose has extensive corporate and nonprofit board experience. He’s a founding board member of the Center for Executive Succession at the University of South Carolina and serves as chair of the Cornell Center for Advanced Human Resources Studies. He also serves on the boards of the Society for Human Resources Management and Jobs for America’s Graduates. He founded Together We Grow, a state-of-the-art consortium of companies, NGOs and legislative bodies to grow a pipeline of diverse talent for the U.S. agriculture industry. For these and other accomplishments, D’Ambrose was awarded HR’s highest honor in 2016 as a National Academy of Human Resources Fellow. A long-time aviation enthusiast, D’Ambrose is a licensed pilot.
