Twenty years in venture capital, previous experience in operating in start-up roles and management consulting. I love working with bright, motivated, visionary entrepreneurs to help create successful companies. I view my role as a supporting actor, being a strategic sounding board and working on behalf of our portfolio companies to find new customers, recruit talented people, and market the companies. Specialties: Focus on information technology venture investing, specifically cloud computing, internet infrastructure, security, and software-as-a-service sectors. Manage a venture firm including recruiting, managing and mentoring team members. Oversee operations of the firm and have been the point person on over $1.5 billion of fundraising from institutional LPs.
