Amanda has over ten years of experience in providing direction to clients in a wide range of areas such as construction, energy, telecommunications, mining, food and beverage, and consumer sectors. Her main areas of expertise are: corporate social responsibility and public affairs, as well as engaging strategic media to amplify brand stories, developing engagement plans and building alliances to achieve client’s key business goals. Amanda began her career in Zimat Consultores where she was managing partner of CONCI, the Corporate Communications practice that specializes in designing strategic communication programs and building brand reputation for some of the top private, public, and civil society organizations in Mexico and internationally. Prior to joining Zimat Consultores, she worked in the area of Social Communications in the office of President Vicente Fox during the first three years of his administration. Amanda has a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago, and a degree in International Relations from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Amanda is on the board of various non-for profit organizations including: CEMEFI (Center for Mexican Philanthropy), COMEXI (Mexican Council on Foreign Relations), CEMDA (Center for Environmental Law), and Causa en Común (Common Cause), a grassroots organization that promotes civic responsibility. In 2015, she became a Member of the Editorial Board for the International Section of Reforma,Mexico´s most influential national newspaper.
