Veeam Software is a privately held information technology company that develops backup, disaster recovery and intelligent data management software for virtual, physical and multi-cloud infrastructures.

It has always been my belief that if we want to be successful in sales and marketing, we need to listen to the customers and to the partners. Because customers belong to different countries, we need to speak the language of their own culture, not just what is said but the way things are said and the way business is conducted. Building a company culture that recognizes and embraces this diversity of cultures is a key element that I adopted early in the formation of the Veeam. It greatly participates to Veeam’s continued success. The selling process is not something that you can adopt as a homogeneous method because the process of human interaction is different in different cultures. In my many years of experience working with customers around the world, I have learnt that you cannot judge cultures. You need to adapt to cultures. That is the secret ingredient of Veeam. We push the responsibilities to the countries themselves, the only way to cope with these diversities of cultures. In my career path, both personally and professionally, I have always looked at the world through openness. I have been driven by a desire to build, to create, and a curiosity of the diversity throughout the world.
