Vancity is a financial services company which offers credit union, wealth management, investing, banking, vancouver, victoria and community investment etc.

I was born in Mumbai, India, and emigrated to Canada in 1993 with my parents. As a result of my upbringing, I can speak and understand Hindi and Urdu, but my native language is English. I attended Burnaby South Secondary School, completing the International Baccalaurate Program Diploma, then the Science One program at the University of British Columbia and then general Arts courses at Langara college while taking online classes for Music Production (my true passion) at the Berklee College of Music (Boston), which are still ongoing. My working career essentially began when I joined eBay Inc. in various technical/support capacities both internal and customer facing, till the Canadian call centre's closure in 2009. Following that, I joined Vancity as an FSR, moving up to coordinator, and then to an Account Manager role specializing in personal lending and relationship management/development, member/customer retention and satisfaction. I then moved to a role supporting the Loans Origination System, a new software system that was being developed for use by account managers, due to my high level of proficiency and knowledge of the system. This enabled me to transition to the much higher profile Banking Applications Renewal project where I have become proficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, quality assurance, and am learning Business Analysis, both through practical experience and courses through UBC. My new skills include test scripting and execution, basic automation, requirements gathering and analysis, document preparation, test coordination, and training, and I am becoming proficient with the Temenos T24 banking system. Throughout my career, I have worked hard to establish a high-level of customer service, receiving recognition from management and customers. I am a diligent and resourceful individual, who can easily adapt and face challenges head on. I am a dedicated team player and do my best to maintain a fun, yet productive environment for my colleagues.
