11/2015 to present: VICE PRESIDENT INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY -- US Cellular Responsible for leading a 440-person organization and equivalent-sized outsourced operation; developing and maintaining the company’s IT architecture roadmap; architecting, planning, developing, testing, operating, and supporting company’s billing system, customer care system, point of sale solution, and web presence; compliance environment; enterprise network cybersecurity 2005 to 11/2015: VICE PRESIDENT ENGINEERING AND NETWORK OPERATIONS -- US Cellular Responsible for wireless voice and data network engineering & operations for US Cellular throughout the United States, including carrier network cybersecurity. Report to CTO. Lead over 700 people and manage a multi-hundred million dollar capital budget. 2003 to 2005: SENIOR DIRECTOR ENGINEERING & NETWORK OPERATIONS -- US Cellular Responsible for engineering & network operations for Central Region, then West Region. Manage directors and nearly 200 associates in each region. WRITER on personal and professional change, leadership, and complexity theory applied to guiding organizational change. MEMBER BOARD OF DIRECTORS 2008-2011, at Christopher House, non-profit family resource center serving economically underprivileged children and families in Chicago Specialties: Wireless voice & data telecommunications.
