Nils Paellmann is an award-winning IR and finance professional with a proven track record in multiple M&A situations, IPOs, and domestic and international capital markets. He is currently spending his time consulting, mentoring, volunteering, and investing. From 2013 until the closing of the merger with Sprint on April 1, 2020, Nils was the Vice President IR and Head of Investor Relations of T-Mobile US (NASDAQ: TMUS). He worked closely with the CEO, CFO, and other senior leaders of T‐Mobile to drive over a 400 percent return for shareholders since the IPO to the closing of the merger with Sprint. Prior to T-Mobile US, Nils was Vice President, Investor Relations of Deutsche Telekom (Bloomberg: DTE GY, DTEGY US). Nils had been heading up the New York investor relations office of Deutsche Telekom since its inception in 1998. Nils served as a Director on the Board of NIRI (National Investor Relations Institute) from 2013 to 2017. He served as President of the New York chapter of NIRI in 2008/9. He is also a member of NIRI's Senior Roundtable and is part of the 2020 Class of "NIRI Fellows". Nils has a PhD in Finance from the Stern School of Business of New York University and an MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) with a specialization in Finance and Marketing Research. Nils was ranked No. 1 IR professional in Telecommunications in the 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 All-America Executive Team rankings by Institutional Investor Magazine. T-Mobile US received the IR Award for "Best use of social media" in the IR Magazine Awards - US 2015, the IR Award for best IR in the telecommunications sector in the IR Magazine Awards - US 2017, and the IR Award for best IR in the communications sector in the IR Magazine Awards - US 2018, 2019, and 2020.
