I help people and organizations understand all aspects of technology and securing their systems and data without all the technobabble. I am a senior level information technology, security, and risk management practitioner with more than 20+ years of experience providing solutions within the financial services, healthcare, publishing, and public sectors. I am able to translate the various layers of Information Technology and Security (Policy, Risk Management, Compliance, Systems, Budget, People, etc.) into meaningful, non-technical terms to promote buy in, alignment, and awareness with business leaders and colleagues. Additionally, I have a strong focus on building enduring relationships and working cooperatively on breaking down the complexities of real world problems. For the better part of 14 years, I have actively volunteered support for National Security and Critical Infrastructure Protection initiatives, donating expertise and providing insight to Federal Law enforcement and Intelligence Agencies. I have found it very rewarding to givie back to the community by sharing knowledge and bringing people together to talk about important security-related issues.
