Experience has included running finance, risk and operations functions, managing transformation programmes, launching 3 UK based banks; an IPO on AIM; setting up finance and risk departments,re-engineering and then running an internal audit function and accountability for Sarbanes Oxley.  In depth knowledge of Retail, Commercial and Private Banking, and Treasury and Trading business models, current regulatory environment and supervisory requirements. Responsibilities have included: management of teams in different geographic locations; all aspects of financial control; financial reporting, planning, budgeting and forecasting; plus credit, liquidity, market and operational risk management and capital planning exercises.
