Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District (SRP) is an integrated power utility. The company offers electricity to a range of residential and commercial customers in Arizona, the US. It is an integrated utility providing generation, transmission and distribution services. I have been with SRP as the Development Manager of Papago Park Center for almost 8 years. I have been in the commercial real estate industry for the past 33 years and involved in almost every aspect of the business from acquisition to sale, as well as entitlement, development and leasing. I was educated at the University of Southern California and have a degree from the business school in real estate finance. My first fourteen years in the business were spent in the Southern California market. Thereafter, I spent over 10 years at SunCor Development Company, where I developed and sold over $200M in commercial real estate with a gross margin in excess of $51M. Further, the projects I have been involved with have consistently been recognized as Best in Class including acquiring 26 acres on Tempe Town Lake from ASU that became an important part of Hayden Ferry Lakeside project and the development of Rio West Business Park in Tempe which is a 300,000 s.f. business park located just west of the SWC of Priest and Rio Salado Parkway. I have been married to Julie for over 25 years and have two children, Lauren who recently graduated from Baylor University and now sells medical equipment and Austin who is in his Sophomore year at SMU in Dallas.
