My responsibilities often include developing and producing handouts, instructional materials, aids, and manuals for my department to assist in delivering complex concepts, reports, and documents in an understandable and engaging format. I am also adept in utilizing web-based media and development tools to create exciting and visually appealing online service pages that meet the needs of the SMU community. I pride myself on my ability to manage and support departmental email lists, respond to communication inboxes quickly, and deliver ad hoc communications via various channels to ensure the timely delivery of crucial information, such as IT incidents, system outages, scheduled maintenance, etc. My passion for learning and sharing information with others is further displayed by my ability to design and deliver in-person or online training and webinars as needed for various audiences. Additionally, I am skilled in writing, proofreading, and editing blog posts and web pages, creating graphics and cards related to blog posts for social media, designing and assembling content for email newsletters, and developing the department's annual reports in collaboration with the communication team. As a creative thinker, I also produce, edit, and coordinate video content for digital signage solutions, lead content creation for social media channels in all formats, review social media channel performance via analytics tools, and manage social media channels and calendars while working with the communication team on content. I ensure the highest quality design across all projects, maintaining consistency with both the University's and the Department's brand, and utilize third-party tools to monitor social media performance and offer solutions based on findings.
