Shift Magazine is an internet company that provides way for people to buy and sell used cars in the peer-to-peer market.

While at Shift, I have been able to assist with the reconciliation of previous months as well as maintain day to day transactions in order to close the current month. During my contract position at DocuSign, I was able to assist with month end procedures due to an employee shortage in the department. At Method I was able to embrace a balance of operations and finance duties. I assisted leadership with reporting and budgeting. and in the implementation of two different time entry and resource planning systems. At Mekanism, I worked closely with client strategists to maintain a client invoicing schedule, revenue forecasting and helped implement monthly meetings with teams to streamline revenue recognition for month end and forecasting. At The OutCast Agency as the Senior Staff Accountant. I maintained the monthly and annual budget of over 30 clients and am responsible for billing of revenue and expenses. I worked with teams to keep the revenue forecast up to date and maintain contracts for all clients. While at Electronic Arts, I assisted in the forecast and monthly close of the IT department, moving onto the Finance and Legal department forecasts. Under this role, I worked closely with high level executives to maintain monthly budgets and create presentations for the CFO and CEO. I assisted during two plan cycles, helping my business partners create budgets at the account level and present these for approval to the management team. During my time at the Charles & Helen Schwab Foundation I was exposed to grant making, budget cycles and marketing for our website for children with learning disabilities. I developed an enthusiasm for the team spirit in the organization and had the opportunity to take on a wide variety of work within a smaller organization. I witnessed the organization evolve in size and budget over a three-year period and was able to assume different levels of responsibilities outside my immediate realm.
