Building is my passion. I love building teams; I love building a great workplace; I love building a community. My positive attitude, my ability to learn and my dedication to make a difference in every role has driven me throughout my career. I started out as a scientist and then transitioned to the facilities team after serving as a liaison between scientists and architects when we were building out our current lab space. In this role, I quickly learned that building relationships with end users (scientists and non-scientists) and commercial real estate partners (landlords, city officials and neighbors) help to create win-win-win situations. In addition, the ability to communicate, manage change and execute solutions to problems, are critical to building a successful facility operations team.
