Raymour & Flanigan is the largest home furniture retailer in the Northeast United States selling furniture, mattresses and home decor.

I am a high energy, driven leader whose is technical but has a passion for business. I graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with highest honors and was in the top 10% of my class. After RIT I was hired as Anheuser-Busch’s youngest systems engineer. I was included in the 15% of people with a technical degree that passed Anheuser-Busch’s national wide supervisory assessment center which allowed me to supervise operations teams on the weekends.I was also on the recruitment team at Anheuser-Busch where I traveled to universities to recruit top talent. I quickly became the intern supervisor while continuing my job as a systems engineer and weekend group manager.When working for Smartech Systems, a software integration company, I increased my team’s billable hours from 64% to 89%. Also at Smartech I was the project lead for Anheuser-Busch’s second largest capital project in New York.At Raymour and Flanigan I lead a credit automation project that increased revenue by 50 million dollars in its first year. I also lead the team in building our first internal mobile app, our mobile point of sale. I also spearheaded bringing on a new primary lender which was the first lender change in 25 years.With over 150 projects in the queue I created a software development life cycle which increased efficiency and decreased bugs. I restructured the department to prepare for strategic growth and aligned skill sets with appropriate responsibilities. After that was complete I grew the team from 12 to 22 associates. We now have a well-organized team of software development managers, project managers, C# .NET web developers, PL/SQL developers, QA analysts, and an Oracle DBA.I enjoy creating process and structure and will continue to focus on how IT can work within the business. My primary goal will always be to add value to the business. Everyone wants to leave work feeling like they made a difference. I am passionate for business and influencing change and I won’t stop.
