Paul D. Mathews is a founder of PLAYSTUDIOS, a social games company that created and operates myVEGAS on Facebook (www.apps.facebook.com/playmyvegas) and on the Apple, Google and Amazon mobile platforms. He has 20 years of gaming experience in both the land-based and online segments of the gaming industry. In 2011, Paul was appointed by Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval to the Gaming Policy Committee, a strategic group that advises the Nevada Governor on gaming policy. Paul is a former Senior Vice President at International Game Technology, the world’s largest gambling game and machine supplier in the world. Paul served as the President of IGT’s online gaming subsidiary, WagerWorks and also was the executive in charge of IGT’s Thin Client Systems Group. In his capacity, Paul was responsible for the overall strategy and operational management of IGT's interactive gaming business. Prior to his roles with IGT and WagerWorks, Paul was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Silicon Gaming, Inc., a land-based slot machine manufacturer, which was acquired by IGT in March 2001. In addition, Paul served as Silicon Gaming’s Vice President of Corporate Development and Government Affairs from 1995 through 1999. Prior to his employment with Silicon Gaming, Paul was the Director of Regulatory Compliance at Casino Data Systems from March 1995 through November 1995, and served over five years with the Nevada Gaming Control Board in both the Investigations and Corporate Securities Divisions.
