Led by a veteran management team, Phillips Edison's operating platform provides retail services including acquisition, redevelopment, leasing and management of grocery-anchored retail centers. The company's portfolio currently includes a national footprint of retail properties. The company has corporate offices in Cincinnati, Salt Lake City, New York City and Atlanta.

Together with his partner, Mike Phillips, Mr. Edison founded Phillips Edison & Company over 25 years ago with the vision to be a different kind of commercial real estate company – one that believes people are a company’s greatest asset; manages all aspects of the business on a fully-integrated platform, and takes a long term view of value creation. Phillips Edison acquired its first grocery-anchored property in 1992, and still owns it today. Under Mr. Edison’s leadership, Phillips Edison still adheres to its vision and has grown into one of the largest owners and operators of grocery-anchored shopping centers in the country. Mr. Edison is extremely well-versed in all aspects grocery-anchored shopping center business, with oversight of Phillips Edison & Company’s investment management and non-traded REIT businesses. He also champions initiatives that support the company’s culture, including innovation and entrepreneurial thinking, learning and training, women in leadership and sustainable business practices. Prior to founding Phillips Edison & Company, Mr. Edison was Senior Vice President at Nations Bank’s South Charles Realty Corporation. He was also employed by Morgan Stanley Realty Incorporated and the Taubman Company.
