As part of the Business Development team at Pershing Advisor Solutions, I work with entrepreneurs and small business owners who have a professionally managed growth oriented firm that are dedicated to serving clients with complex financial lives. This effort involves a comprehensive understanding of their business while looking to assist them using a wide range of resources available through the BNY Mellon Pershing network plus my 30+ years of experience in the financial services industry.Prior to my time at Pershing Advisor Solutions, I was head of Business Development and Strategic Relationships at San Francisco Sentry. I led a team that was responsible for sourcing and recruiting wealth and asset management teams on to the firm's platform. During my tenure at the firm over $1.5 billion in assets were introduced from multiple entities. In addition several firms specializing in private equity and private placement opportunities were introduced.In 2005 I formed a consulting practice, DFH Advisors, an affiliate of Aquillian Investments where I was focused on hedge funds and fund of hedge funds for a client based made up of HNW individuals, family offices and wealth management firms.I began my career in the financial services industry in 1981 as a Floor Manager on the Pacific Options Exchange for Goldberg Securities. I later became a member of the proprietary trading team focused on derivative trading strategies. After seven years at Goldberg, I co-founded Gill & Company, a proprietary trading firm specialized in index arbitrage and related strategies.I am a graduate of Ithaca College in New York, with a BS in Business Administration. I hold FINRA licenses: Series 7, 63 and 65.In my spare time I enjoy skiing, tennis, golf, hiking and backpacking.
