Packt Publishing Limited is an education management institution which provides software learning resources, from eBooks to video courses, to everyone from web developers to data scientists.

As Head of Marketing and Platforms at Packt and a member of the senior management team, I'm a key driver of overall business strategy. I'm responsible responsible for Packt's platform and subscription product development, reach management and brand strategy. Overseeing integrated strategic marketing campaigns, push marketing channels (email, PPC), pull marketing channels (SEO, referral links) and customer engagement, I've grown Packt's digital traffic to more than 2m a month over the last two years. I direct a global team that drives Packt's B2C business, which has doubled in revenue since 2014. I am leading Packt's transition from a publisher to a personalised online IT skills platform. ln July 2016, my team launched Mapt, a skills platform built for professional developers that reveals the in-demand skills that every developer needs to stay relevant. At Packt I take a data-driven approach to getting immediate results, but also enjoy the strategic responsibilities of my role and the ongoing challenges of innovation and optimisation in the constantly evolving world of software development. This combination of creativity and analytical thinking has seen my team deliver highly aggressive revenue growth and a significant reinvigoration of customer engagement.
