The North West Company is a retail store that is a retailer of food and everyday products and services to rural communities and urban neighbourhoods in Canada.

Vice President Major Markets, The North West Company. This position is accountable to profitably grow the Major Market Stores located in Northern Canada utilizing the strengths of a team including; District Management, Specialists and Store Management. The position includes the development and execution of strategic initiatives to meet the continuously changing needs and wants of the unique customer base. Prior to the operations role the position of Vice President Grocery Procurement and Marketing was held. The position included the accountability to lead a team of Category Managers for the Canadian and International markets for four different and distinct banners including; 134 stores under the Northern, North Mart banners in northern Canada, 32 Giant Tigers in the western provinces, 32 stores in Alaska, 13 Cost-U-Less stores located in the Caribbean and South Pacific. A 27 year retail career has resulted in a strong managerial background with vast and differentiated professional experiences both domestically and internationally. A results orientated leader realizing success through maximizing the strengths of each direct report.
