Team oriented and results-driven mechanical engineer with 7+ years of experience focusing in opto-mechanical and precision engineering in a Fortune 100 Fastest-Growing Company. 3+ years of engineering leadership and project management experience resulting in total revenue over $1.8M. Strong technical and project management skills demonstrated by successfully leading and completing numerous multi-department complex engineering projects following tight schedules. Quick learner with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Currently the lead engineer for the diffraction gratings ruling group at Richardson Gratings Lab, a world leader in the design and manufacture of diffraction gratings, part of Newport Corporation/MKS Instruments. Responsible for new product development starting from understanding customer requirements to delivering high quality ruled diffraction gratings. Hands-on experience developing and testing diffraction gratings in addition to experience designing mechanical parts and systems. Diverse research experience in graduate school focusing in additive manufacturing and energy demand modeling. Recipient of the MKS Instruments "Trade Secret" award for developing a novel process for product fabrication. Also, recipient of University at Buffalo Engineering Alumni Association "Leaders in Excellence" scholarship for impactful leadership roles and scholastic accomplishments.
