Natera is a San Carlos, CA-based company that is driven by a passion for elevating the science and utility of prenatal testing. The advent of the Information Age has created a paradigm shift in the fields of computing and informatics. Surprisingly, medical diagnostics have been slow to integrate these advances into genetic testing. Until Natera.
I'm a technology reporter for Australia's leading national newspaper The Australian. With deep experience across start-ups, business and tech I'm uniquely positioned to cover Australia’s fast-growing technology ecosystem and how it’s changing the face of business and how we work, live and play.I write regular features and breaking news stories on local tech for the newspaper and edit The Australian’s online technology section. I'm also relied upon as an energetic and hard-hitting MC and panelist at technology conferences, and appear regularly on TV and radio including on Channel 10’s The Project and across the country on ABC Radio National.Born in Melbourne, Australia, I have a degree from RMIT University and was editor of the student newspaper, and president of the RMIT Student Union. As well as prior roles at Technology Spectator and iTWire, I have worked as a journalist since the age of 14 when I reviewed mobile phone games weekly for Midlet Review.I work from The Australian's office in Southbank and also regularly work out of co-working space Inspire9 in Richmond, home to a vibrant startup community and regular events related to innovation and technology.I aim to continue to further explore my interests in tech and business, challenging both myself and those I encounter along the way.
