NASCAR Official Partners are integral to the sport’s continued growth, and NASCAR has a strong reputation for returning the favor.I am the Vice President of Partnership Marketing for NASCAR, reporting to the Chief Sales Officer. Through my lens, I am fortunate to help brands leverage the power of sports to reach their objectives. I lead a team that retains and grows sponsorship revenue for NASCAR while managing more than 50 partnerships. My primary focus is on blue-chip corporations in both the general-market and automotive categories, with partners such as Coca-Cola, HP, Toyota and Mobil 1.Our approach is based on a few basic pillars: First, we deliver great value to our partners – we are in the relationship business as much as the sponsorship sales business. Second, we develop and implement award-winning league assets and platforms that deliver results. Third, we continue to innovate to meet partner goals with a strong focus on integrated sponsorship activation. These ingredients drive successful partnerships for the league.As a rights holder, our primary asset is our intellectual property and advising clients on go-to-market strategies to leverage an official association with NASCAR. One critical component of our success is our NASCAR Fuel for Business program which creates exclusive B2B opportunities for our league partners. Over the last ten years, we have driven hundreds of millions of dollars back to partners as a result. Its real ROI.My team develops many other additional assets that provide partners with tangible value for their investment. These include retail programs, live fan events, social media promotions, corporate hospitality programs and national promotions around NASCAR’s intellectual property.
