I am the only Executive Vice President of Human Resources for North American Bancard, and winner of the 2015 Michigan's Top HR Professionals award. I oversee all HR functions for NAB and its nine affiliates throughout the United States, including: employee relations, learning & development, talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, payroll, and employee engagement. I have over 20 years of domestic and international HR leadership experience. I have a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, graduating with distinction, from the University of Michigan - Flint, with a concentration in Human Resources Management and Organizational Behavior. I also have my Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. I am dedicated to advancing the field of Human Resources, as well as mentoring and developing the careers of HR professionals. As a member of Detroit Society for Human Resource Management, I currently serve as Past President, and held the position of President in 2014. I have been a key-note speaker on the Family Medical Leave Act, addressed HR students on University Campuses, developed paid HR college intern programs, and have been interviewed on iHeartRadio. As a philanthropist and advocate for community service, I support a wide range of important causes, such as domestic violence, breast cancer awareness, and transitioning women from welfare back into the workplace. Formerly, I held the position of Vice President of ZONTA International, San Diego chapter, a world-wide organization dedicated to the advancing the status of women throughout the world. I also served on the School to Work Governance Council for the State of Michigan. I'm certified to teach DDI content, Vital Smarts Crucial Confrontations, and Predictive Index assessments.
