I'm a climate scientist turned podcast producer, and I tell audio stories about the forces shaping our future. My full portfolio can be found at mikeosborne.orgI produce multimedia content (primarily audio) for Worldview Stanford. I co-created the Raw Data podcast, and I also lead the Generation Anthropocene podcast, which is an ongoing partnership between Stanford and Smithsonian.com. In addition, I help guide strategic, editorial, and partnership decisions that bolster Worldview's mission of creating unique learning experiences. Prior to Worldview, I trained as a climate scientist (oceanography and geochemistry), and I worked as a researcher for over 10 years. I completed my PhD at Stanford where I studied paleoclimatology. My PhD research focused on understanding historical El Niño and La Niña variability.
