Hessam Nadji is president and chief executive officer for Marcus & Millichap, a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm with more than 1,600 investment professionals in offices throughout the United States and Canada. Mr. Nadji’s 20-year history with the firm as a key member of the management team includes being appointed to Senior Executive Vice President of the company in May 2015, where he oversaw the company’s national specialty brokerage divisions, mortgage brokerage division Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) and research/advisory services, as well as corporate functions including finance and marketing. Prior to that, Mr. Nadji was Chief Strategy Officer responsible for setting the firm’s long-term strategy and part of the leadership team that planned and executed the company’s initial public offering in 2013. Mr. Nadji joined Marcus & Millichap in 1996 as vice president of research and positioned the firm as a leading provider of market trends, analyses and expertise. Over the years, his role expanded to include marketing and strategy, enabling him to play a key role in establishing and growing Marcus & Millichap’s national brand. Mr. Nadji is frequently sourced on behalf of the firm for business media, including The Wall Street Journal, Investor’s Business Daily, CNBC, Fox Business and BloombergTV, Real Estate Forum and numerous other real estate publications. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, he was senior vice president at Grubb & Ellis, where he began his career in 1986. Mr. Nadji received a Bachelor of Science degree in information management and computer science from City University in Seattle.
