Hello. I run all of Production & Corporate Infrastructure and Operations for Marchex. As of Aug 2018 here are some metrics I'm proud of in my current role as Sr Technology Director: * Implemented a collaborative and in-depth Problem Management and Outage Management process. Result has been 100% uptime of our core infrastructure for 18 months and counting! * Just recently drove the company into a Security Program which achieved SOC2 Type II compliance and greatly reduced surface area and risk for attack. * Run all Production and Corporate Infrastructure, from a local 24x7 Ops Center and up to Principle Level Engineers to offshore vendor teams. * Manage ~$10mm budget for all Engineering teams company wide. * Currently working on revamping from a traditional centralized Ops model to a SRE/DevOps culture. Working towards Kubernetes and Containerization for all systems , as well as a fully automated CI/CD pipeline. I am most proud of my team and growing them to reach beyond their potential. I have had 32 people leave my various Service Desks over the years, and only 4 have left the company I was with. The more you can lead people to growth and prosperity the more it grows you.
