As a risk management professional, I have strong competencies within the detection and visualisation of corporate risks allowing the company to protect its assets and values. I work with dedication and focus when it comes to creating management awareness and visibility of the company’s risks. By identifying cyber risks and creating the needed visibility to top management, I enable the company to take informed decisions on the appropriate resilience level. A competency that I have successfully built during my many years with A.P. Moller - Maersk. I can lead and guide a team within Information Security, Internal Audit, Business Continuity Management, Finance and M&As and will provide the company with a holistic view of the risks and the appropriate risk mitigation plans and assurance of implementation. I have a strong business acumen and understanding of the importance that risk mitigation works in support of the business. This means that I can strike a healthy balance between risks and controls. I ensure that line managers get the necessary support to understand and manage cyber risks and are equipped with good business continuity plans. We all understand that it can have a huge impact on the assets and values of the company including the reputation and brand when the company is hit by a cybercrime or similar. Risks that can be mitigated when one is properly protected and with good response plans in place.
