Operate as part of a business leadership team with strong focus on achieving business outcomes whilst bringing technical expertise in all aspects of IT to drive appropriate technical architecture & IT operating standards. On joining my current employer I inherited a very broken IT function (CRM/salesforce.com) with equally poor IT/business relationships. At End 2016, after investing approx. $15m the situation has reached a maturity level whereby I could seek new opportunities. From 2000 sales users with low adoption the platform is now used by 12,000 users across Sales & Customer Service across the globe. My current challenge at Maersk is to tackle Revenue Optimisation. Prior to joining my current employer in September 2013: completed a project to deploy a SaaS based call centre & field service solution (ServiceMax) based on the salesfoce.com platform. Prior to this I led a sales force automation project to deploy SalesForce.com ($21m) across International business (Europe & Asia Pacific) with global responsibility for several aspects of sales process development roadmap. I have led several multimillion dollar, pan-European projects in the areas of field service & call centre, document imaging (Siebel, $13.8m), lease order processing & accounting (SAP, $7.2m) and delivery of a major customer sales & service web portal (WebSphere, $5.7m). My background includes leadership of all aspects of IT including establishment & operation of outsourced services with an onshore/offshore model.
