As Chief Technology Officer for Lion, I have overall responsibility for IT strategy, applications, infrastructure, architecture & security across the Lion Group. I lead a team focused on delivering & supporting technology solutions that underpin the business’s growth strategy & provide great experiences for our people & customers. I’m a commercial Executive leader with a strong background of developing, driving strategy and delivering transformational change leading teams of up to 500 with significant multimillion dollar budgets. My early FMCG foundation in sales gives me a business-first lens that always considers customers, consumers and people. I combine deep process and technology knowledge with cross functional leadership experience in sales, finance, strategy, technology to deliver large scale change programs. I recently delivered a complex, multi-year digital business transformation program, impacting all business functions, over 3,000 team members and >10 large manufacturing sites across 2 countries - one of the region’s largest greenfield SAP S/4 HANA implementations completed remotely through COVID 2020. In my career I have been sought out and trusted to take on roles that have been fundamental to the delivery of key strategic initiatives, involving significant investment. I am known for taking on and delivering positive outcomes from difficult and complex challenges requiring business change and executive stakeholder engagement. In a crisis I have often been the person trusted with the responsibility to find solutions and to rectify problems. As a leader, I build trust - I do what I say I'm going to do, I deliver, and I confront uncomfortable truths. I am a strong believer in the speed of delivery that trusting others achieves. Granting trust and empowerment, I coach and let go. As an executive, I am highly approachable, I take time with people, have a genuine personal interest in them and am often seen as one of the team. I focus on solutions, bring diverse groups of people together to solve complex problems and put the customer at the heart of all decisions. I have a reputation for improving team engagement levels including during periods of significant change. My top three career strengths are aligning business strategy with technology, large and complex program/project management and lifting engagement of large teams through getting them aligned behind a strategy or goal. I gain the most satisfaction from winning and knowing I made a positive difference to the outcomes and careers of people I’ve worked closely with and have led.
