A digital enthusiast with over eight years’ experience in financial services marketing; a strong commitment to learning, applying and interpreting new technologies and concepts to the distribution side of the investment management business. Key skills include Project Management – I have a full understanding of what is required to simultaneously manage and deliver web projects. This includes discovery, design and development all the way through to the implementation, testing and release phases. I have over ten years’ experience in this discipline which allows me to understand the risks and mitigate accordingly most especially the translation and localisation for European markets. Stakeholder management and influence - I am customer focused, clear on the wider business goals aswell as the marketing goals. I also reference best practice for the channel used, be it email, video, mobile. I have therefore learnt to listen and understand the difference in perspective from Compliance, Sales, Investment Marketing Content and any other stakeholders which enables me to be a credible voice during key discussions and decision making. Supplier selection and management – I am very experienced in writing tenders, writing requests for proposals, shortlisting potential suppliers and negotiating both ad-hoc and retainer costs. I also manage key relationships with some of our supplier agencies which means I’m responsible for planning and prioritising work from various parts of the business, negotiating project costs and ensuring deadlines are met. Brand Champion– I have experience in overseeing the creation of a digital style guide as a reference manual for new digital initiatives. I am also overseeing the creation of a visual language to support the production of infographics and ensuring a consistency and brand recognition of this content is easily identifiable as ours. In a previous role, I have also been involved in managing copy style guidelines and tone of voice.
