As a kid, I took stuff apart a lot and I got pretty good at putting things back together. It wasn't that I was destructive; I just wasn't satisfied with knowing what something did. I wanted to know how and why too. I once had a mentor ask me, “What is the one thing you don’t know?” After a few wrong guesses and some thought he let me off the hook and gave me the answer. He said, “The one thing you don’t know is what you don’t know. You may not be an expert at something, but as long as you have awareness of your weaknesses you can work towards solutions.” That one question sparked my passion for being a life-long learner. It drove me to pursue a deeper understanding of Performance Management, Organizational Behavior and Design, and most recently the impact technology (technology being a machine, piece of equipment, method, etc.) can have on an organizations culture and mission. I’ve served in many different roles in the organizations I’ve worked with, but in all of them I bring the same core beliefs: - Remove the Obstacles - Drive Operational Excellence - Intentional Community Building - Engage the Team - Remain Focused on the Mission I love making new professional contacts.
