Jordon Gillman cut his teeth in the industry in BIM for the past 11 years, and has grown into the role of Business Development/ Preconstruction Manager at Layton Construction. Jordon brings leadership and strategic focus in the pursuit of new business opportunities as well as estimating and planning support. He’s brings a very diverse background not only in the construction, but design as well. Having worked on a project at 11,000 feet above sea level and a multi-million dollar project below sea level, Jordon recognizes the challenges and constraints in the building and construction industry.Prior to moving in to the Business Development/ Preconstruction Manager role at Layton, Jordon spent a decade helping many companies transition from 2D technology into 3D Technology to implement Building Information Modeling as their preferred solution in the Architecture, Engineering, Interior design, and construction industry. Jordon has a nack for speaking and has spoken at many conferences in the AEC industry about the process of BIM and how to best implement it in the construction industry. He acted as the president for the Wasatch Front Revit Users Group from 2012-2013, developing and coordinating multiple BIM topics to the local contractors, specialty trades, and architects.
