When I was younger I loved playing with Legos. Every inch of my room was covered in them. I loved how I could create a new world around me with such simple tools. I could build new toys that would evolve and adapt as I grew. What I didn’t realize then is this was the start of my passion for product development. In my job now, I do the same thing, but on a much larger scale. I take my knowledge of food science and consumer insight to concept new products with our design team, and I lead a wonderful team to commercialize these new ideas and share them with the world. I work hard to evolve and constantly grow my product development strategy. When I am not launching new products, I spend my free time tinkering with electronics and of course still playing with Legos. I have a drive to understand how and why things work. I also love the outdoors. I will find any excuse to go outside to run, bike, swim, or hike. I find it helps clear my mind and enables me to come back to problems with a fresh perspective.
