I am a hands on engineer/manager with over 20 years of experience, that loves to solve problems, get involved with the details and share my expertise. I continue to build off my experiences in many different industries and engineering disciplines. I enjoy assisting and being a functional leader in operations, engineering and facilities management. I have a passion for managing & developing personnel in new techniques and skills. I consider my strongest attribute as being involved with all aspects of an operation. I have lead at many levels in operations, facilities, maintenance, engineering, quality and design. I am passionate about improving processes to enhance business growth, reduce cost and waste, focused on strategic market growth and lean initiatives. I can develop short and long term strategies, drive implementation and delegate as needed. I know how to make decisions quickly and accurately, manage budgets and P&L, improve KPIs and challenge teams. I have been able to advance my career through different world class companies. I have been able to participate, lead and facilitate Lean Kaizens. Such as, Variation reduction, Standard Work, Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED), Project Management, Gage R&R and 3P (Product Process Preparedness), Shainin Red X and Six Sigma, 8D problem solving and Voice of the Customer to name a few. I have been able to reduce internal defect rates, improve productivity and labor absorption and improve customer satisfaction while reducing wasted costs. I enjoy fast paced environments, I want to be with a company that is dedicated to improving themselves, as much as I enjoy improving myself. Throughout my career I have never stopped learning a new function that compliments my skills and improves my abilities. For example, I have worked toward completion of my Certified Health and Safety Officer through Keene State, over 12 separate OSHA and Niosh courses over 3 years, PLC programming, Python programming language, sitting for IMF (International Facilities Management) test, achieving ASQ Certified Manager of Quality / Operational Excellence.
