Paul was employed by Kainos for over 30 years, and for the latter half of that period he led the HR and remuneration functions. In the first half of his career he worked his way up from Software Engineer, through various technical and Management roles. He was also a member of the Kainos Executive Management team since 2001, and has a thorough understanding of the commercial aspects of a software and services business. He was instrumental in Kainos growing from an early-stage company, to SME, to a multi-national PLC employing 1,000 people. His most recent role in Kainos was Head of Remuneration, which included: -Overall responsibility for Remuneration strategy, policy and implementation for Kainos Group PLC -Oversight of remuneration levels for new hires and promotions - salary, bonus, benefits, share options -Annual salary review -Management of bonus process -Kainos Group PLC Share schemes - LTIPs, Share Options, SIP (gift) shares -Liaison with PLC Remuneration Committee -Responsible for Remuneration sections of Kainos Group PLC Annual Report, and remuneration questions at AGM.
