As Chief IT Digital and Innovation Officer of Intesa Sanpaolo I am responsible for a Governance Area that reports to the CEO and that includes: - Innovation - Process Digitalization and management - Data Governance - Information Technology - Security and Business Continuity - Operations Since April 2021 I am a member of the Advisory Committee for the digitization of the Italia Public Administration (Comitato Consultivo per la P.A. Digitale) in support of the Minister for the Innovation and Digital Transition. Since June 2022 I am a member of the "Technical Committee" (Comitato Tecnico) in support of the Italian National Cybersecurity Agency (Agenzia per la Cybersicurezza Nazionale ACN). Before joining IntesaSanpaolo I was a Senior Managing Director for Accenture. Since 2007 through 2017 I was responsible of the Financial Services market (banking, capital markets and Insurance) for Italy, Central Europe, Russia, Greece, Turkey and Middle East; I was a member of both Accenture’s Financial Services Board for Europe, Africa and Latin America and Accenture’s Geographic Council for the IGEM region, encompassing Italy, Greece, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, Turkey and Middle East. In this period I lead the expansion of the Accenture offering in Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Outsourcing and M&A. Since 2012, as Accenture Senior Managing Director, I had the additional responsibility for the Accenture Payment offering at Global level and, since 2015, for the Banking Industry Practice Banking for Europe, Africa and Latin America. I was elected Andersen Consulting partner (Accenture partner) in 1999. Since joining Andersen Consulting (Accenture) in 1988, I have held various financial services leadership roles with responsibility for profit and loss, operations and offering, and competence development. In these roles, I was also focused on delivering strategic transformation projects to our banking clients, planning and implementing mergers and acquisitions, and designing and executing operating models. In this period I was assigned to several engagements in Europe and Africa, Before joining Andersen Consulting (Accenture) I worked for IBM.
